I use the finest printing techniques:
all images are digitally scanned on a Tango drum scan, printed on
a Chromira printer or an Epson
9600 Inkjet printer..
The Chromira is a Digital Enlarger that exposes type C photographic
paper with LED's. I use Fuji Crystal Archive Paper, which has been
tested to last well over 60 years without fading.
An Epson 9600 print features archival ink on equally high quality paper.
The Epson 9600 offers a wider color gamut of blues, greens and yellows
and may be appropriate for certain images.
I work closely with my printers at West
Coast Imaging to produce the
finest prints available. They employ Photoshop to apply traditional
darkroom techniques -- dodging, burning, cropping, color balance and
saturation -- to bring the most out of each image.
